The 2012 season was an amazing year in which the boys all came together as a family, united by a single shared vision. 2012 was a great senior class that came to DeSales with one goal and were led by a set of captains that comes along once in a coach's career, they showed what it means to be a family . When we lost JT (2 time Ohio attackman of the year and 2 time All-American) due to appendicitis right after winning the final four, they didn't panic about losing our top scorer but banded together as brothers to support him and bring the title home. One of the most amazing things about winning the title was actually off the field and represents what DeSales is all about. When the students rushed the field, I looked in the stands and saw the baseball team who had just won their State title only hours earlier wearing their medals. Their support and cheering on the lacrosse team after my boys cheered for the baseball team during their game, is something you don't see often…if ever. I texted coach Neubert congratulations on his title from the stands after watching him win, his response was the most motivating and genuine that you can't make up. "Thanks, now go get yours!".
You don't see that anywhere else but DeSales…..Family
