DeSales won the 1974 Class A-AA District Championship and qualified the most wrestlers of any Central District team for the state tournament
The Stallions set a Sectional Meet record with 165.5 team points, after capturing seven individual weight classes and sending ten to the District Tournament
DeSales won their 11th straight Central Catholic League Wrestling Meet
The Stallions took 2nd in the Top 8 Mat Meet at DeSales, which was made up of the top teams in the Central District from the 1972-73 season
DeSales also placed 2nd in the Brecksville Tournament behind Toledo St. Francis DeSales, who had won 121 consecutive dual matches
DeSales finished 7-1 in dual meets, including wins over Grove City (finished 7th in the state in Class AAA; defending Mid 8 champions), Reading (finished 5th in the state in 1973 and returned 4 state qualifiers) and Northland (finished 10th in the state in Class AAA)
DeSales welcomed 8 new men into the lineup and returned just 5 lettermen from 1972-73 squad
